American Route - Aiguille du Fou - 2017

Tony Stone and I climbed the American Route on L’Aiguille du Fou in August 2017. This cool, 12-pitch route is on the diamond-shaped south side of the mountain. Despite skiing underneath it via the Vallee Blanche, and the Fou’s visibility from town, I’d never climbed on it. Most of the route is fantastic.
